Archeologist of the Wasteland est l’histoire d’un fan de Mad Max 2 qui a quitté sa petite ville anglaise pour s’installer en Australie, où le film a été tourné. Il a traversé l’écran et est parti vivre dans son film préféré.

C’est l’histoire d’un musée, d’une passion et de la quête d’une voiture abandonnée que le désert aurait avalée. C’est une chasse au trésor qui nous embarque pour un voyage étrange, dans un pays bizarre, harcelé par un climat inhospitalier dans lequel évoluent des personnages tout aussi singuliers.
