Certainly one of the best rip-ofs from Mad Max II, généreux en diable avec ses véhicules bardés de herses, ses poursuites dantesques, ses déchaînements de tôle froissée et ses explosions à foison.

Un film d’anticipation « futuriste » qui emprunte au post-apocalyptique, à Terminator mais aussi à Over the Top avec ses routiers qui font des tournois de bras de fer (bien qu’il ait été tourné avant la sortie du film avec Stallone), il est une sort de chant du cygne pour le cinéma d’exploitation transalpin, qui brillait de ses derniers feux avant d’être emporté par le rouleau-compresseur de la télévision.
